Augsburg, 8. April 2024 – On April 5^th, the electronics service provider BMK celebrates its 30^th anniversary. BMK management invited all their employees to an onsite anniversary meal to mark the special occasion.

30 years success story of a hidden champion
BMK was founded in 1994 by Stephan Baur, Dieter Müller, and Alois Knöferle with just 25 employees. After three decades of organic growth, the hidden champion from the German SME sector is now one of Europe's leading providers of electronics services. Since its founding, the headquarters in Augsburg has expanded by three domestic and three foreign locations and the range of services has increased substantially.  Today, customers from a wide selection of industry areas such as automation technology, industrial electronics, the automotive industry, medical technology or energy and environmental technology can choose from a broad full-service spectrum. Continuous investment in innovative technologies and resources ensures that the company is always looking a step ahead towards the future.

The sustainability and resilience of the business partnership was also highlighted by Josef Ernst, CEO of long-standing BMK customer and machine supplier, ASMPT, during a surprise visit on the anniversary day: “What we particularly appreciate about the many years of successful collaboration with BMK is the transparent and constructive communication, which has proven to be extremely valuable, especially in difficult times.” ASMPT presented BMK with an individually designed painting by artist Stephanie Pepersack to mark the company’s birthday.

BMK Employees are the driving force of passion
BMK is one of the fastest-growing midsized companies in Bavaria and, with around 1,300 regular employees from 60 nations, it is one of the largest employers and training companies in the Augsburg region. "Our growth is reflected in the security and long-term nature of our employment relationships. Our employees were, are and will remain a key factor in our success story," emphasizes Head of HR, Christof Miller. From the very beginning, BMK has placed great value on teamwork, short communication paths and a collegial atmosphere. This is also confirmed by production employee, Jürgen Gagesch, who is celebrating 30 years with the company this year. "Thanks to BMK's controlled growth, future-oriented planning and operational cohesion, opportunities are proactively utilized, and crises efficiently overcome. This has always ensured a sense of job safety in the workplace.”

As a thank you for everyone’s strong commitment, BMK management invited all BMK employees to a festive get-together with food and refreshments on the day of the company’s anniversary. In addition, there will be a dinner with BMK management for the very first employees and a big summer party for staff and relatives in the summer.
